Citizenship across the curriculum

Over the next few months material will be appearing on the website to support teachers involved in Citizenship across the curriculum.

In many schools subjects across the curriculum are expected to make their contribution to Citizenship. The Education for Citizenship website is building a range of materials to help. It aims to offer one activity per year for each subject.

We now have several units for Geography and History, and now have three Science unit. The activities are being added to the site as they are completed so keep checking for additions. We now have one Business and Economics unit with more to follow later.

The resources which appear here have been developed by teachers and used in their classrooms. They aim to achieve the requirement of making the Citizenship content quite explicit as well as offering the three strands knowledge, skills and participation.
