Citizenship through Maths

There are a number of areas of maths which make a valuable contribution to Citizenship. Numerical relationships are at the heart of Citizenship because they help to explain many of the issues which interest students.

The lessons are in the context of topics including food miles, tax payers and the make up of UK population, all prime areas for the use of maths as it helps students to understand what’s going on.
